Billie Eilish ft. Khalid — “Lovely”

At the age of 16, Billie Eilish has become a famous female singer though her debut single, Ocean Eyes. The single hits over 50 million streams on Spotify and eventually caught the eyes of the public. Following that success, she released the song “Smile at Me” onto apple music. She established her own style of music which closely resemble with other chill vibe artists such Khalid, Ed Sheeran, etc. In a recent new release, “Lovely” featuring Khalid became a new popular song for the younger generation to enjoy. Her soothing style of music is most definitely different than other popular female artists in the industry right now. For example, Cardi B is the extreme opposite of what a Billie Eilish’ fan might enjoy. Billie, known for being a very young prodigy, has created a lot of expectation for what’s up and coming. Her tremendous success from a nobody to a somewhat superstar was all created in less than two years. With this new song featuring Khalid, her popularity has hit a new high on all sorts of social media; she recently hit the 200k mark on twitter. In comparison to Khalid’s fame, she’s still far from being a world-wide known singer, but what’s remarkable is how young she is. Not even in her adulthood yet, Billie has created a name for herself as just a small kid with a big dream ahead of her. The music industry is just a beginning step for her as she will continue to make a name for herself.
