6 Life Lessons From a Martial Arts Master
Shoshanah Shear

Thank you Shoshanah. I taught Shotokan Karate for the last 12 years of my 27-year martial arts stint. Everything you have stated about the mastery of a martial art is not only accurate but part of what is taught and learned.

I still practice/train for myself, though my body was forced to give up serious training several years ago.

What I learned through serious practice translated into every aspect of life. What I learned from teaching did the same. The steady, sometimes relentless, drills of focus, diligent practice, attention to detail and precision are gifts that I treasure.

Thank you for sharing this.
