What is mass?

Answer:- The sum of all rigid particles present in a body or a matter is termed as mass of that perticular body or that matter.
To describe completely mass of a body we don’t need to explain any direction of mass as, it has no direction ,mass has measurable numerical value, so it is also known as a scaler quantity.Mass of a body always remains constant i.e; it is an unchangeable quantity.

What are the units of mass?

Answer:-

The units of mass in different systems are as follows:-
(i) In C.G.S system the unit of mass is gram.
(ii) In M.K.S or S.I system the unit of mass is :- Kg or Kilogram which is also called standard unit of mass,and lastly in
(iv)In F.P.S system the unit of mass is pound.
