Fahad Fasil never misses a chance to wow his fans! From Trance, Vikram, and Kumbalangi Nights to Joji, Pushpa 2, and Malik, his list of iconic roles in movies just keeps growing. And now, with Aavesham, he’s ventured into a new genre that’s captivated not just Malayalam fans but audiences across the country. Released on April 11, 2024, Aavesham quickly became the talk of the town, gaining even more popularity after its Amazon Prime debut on May 9. Fahad again proves there’s no role he can’t master with his stellar, organic performance.

Directed by the talented Jithu Madhavan, Aavesham is his second directorial gem. Jithu’s slick craft and direction have solidified his rep as one of the most promising filmmakers in the Malayalam film industry. This movie is all about entertainment and laughter and was produced by Nazriya Nazim and Anwar Rasheed under the Fahad Fasil and Friends banner.

So, what’s the deal with Aavesham? It’s set in Bengaluru, where three Kerala teens land in India’s Silicon Valley to study engineering. A typical college fight with seniors spirals out of control, pushing the trio to seek hardcore revenge. They decide to rope in a local gangster for help, and the story takes off with all its wild twists and turns.

Fahad, playing Ranga, a local rowdy, totally steals the show with his killer performance. From his acting to his costume, everything screams top-notch cinema-making. Decked out in his white-on-white outfit, gold bling, Ray-Ban sunglasses, and cruising in a BMW, Ranga is a character you can’t help but enjoy from his first scene to the last. The comic timing throughout the film is spot-on, and the trio of young boys absolutely nail their roles. Ranga and their chemistry and performance are just fantastic throughout the movie.

Aavesham nails it perfectly with comedy, action, music, and emotion. Fahad, as Ranga, shows off his versatility like never before. His comic timing, killer expressions, and deep dive into the character make this 2-hour-and-30-minute flick a treat.
