I fear that it will take humanity to be put to rest for our world to be at peace with itself, since we cannot be at peace with one another. The hate underlying the crust of the planet we each tread upon runs deeper than racial tensions. This murderous beast of negativity that is swallowing us whole, but that is not merciful enough to spit us back out speaks to a greater issue than differences in belief. This monster reigns over us more vocal and active in its truth and the state of our world than the politicians we elect to office. This monster is the human race and this war is our own. The saddest and most undeniable truth of this lengthy and unforgiving battle is that NO ONE will win, so why do we insist upon fighting?

Where did we lose ourselves?

Will we ever find ourselves again?

I hope so.

One clap, two clap, three clap, forty?

By clapping more or less, you can signal to us which stories really stand out.
