The participants will be working all week at the unique Traditional Crafts Center, located in Biliūnai village, Kaunas District, and the final event will take place on August 19th at 17:00 at the historical Raudondvaris Castle, where all interested in innovations and progress are welcome.

Every day, the program provides open sessions where knowledge gathering and business, communication, marketing, finance professionals will be available to everyone, registered in the workshops; The New Age of Accountability, Moving From a Financing Model to a Stakeholders Model, “From StoryTelling to StorySelling: How to Be Customer-Centric” and “Think Human: It’s Time for Brands to Reconnect with People”. Innovative developers are supported by both leading entrepreneurs and organizations

The organizers of the Social Innovation Program “ChangeMakers’ON”, the European Social Entrepreneurship and Innovative Studies Institute, Kaunas University of Technology and the Entrepreneurship and Innovation Center “Versli Lietuva”, are pleased to see that every time they succeed in attracting more and more organizations that contribute to such things.

This time, in the camp, Vladas Lašas, an entrepreneur, PhD in technical sciences and popular public figure, the winner of the highest individual business award in the world — the international Business Peace Prize, has agreed to share experience and insights. He is also a founder of such companies as “Skubios Siuntos”, “Elinta”, “Elinvision” and “GRE Holding”, Member of the National Progress Council of Lithuania 2030, Member of the Global Lithuanian Leadership Council. Long story short — he is one of the most influential businessmen in Lithuania.

Even more, Algirdas Stonys, the head of the international smart and innovative IT services company “TeleSoftas” will share positive vibes with changemakers’ community. Participants will also have the opportunity to learn from such mentors as Dylan Sharkey, who has been the head of digital sales management at Linkedin, Lauri Koponen, a consultant and coach, who has developed such brands as Wella, Procter & Gamble, Revlon, TIGI, R-kiosk, Pizza Hut, Paulig, Sony Products and Phil Tulba — Social Business Consultant from the United Kingdom.

And that’s just a few of more than sixty experts that will help innovators develop their products. Eleonora Sakalauskaitė, one of the camp’s mentors-experts and speakers, pricing specialist and founder of Pricing.lt, is convinced that sharing personal experience is valuable not only for the starter but also for the mentor himself.

“As part of such initiatives, you will find a lot of interesting and ambitious people who often have successful business relationships and can come up with new ideas. However, I am most pleased that people appreciate your advice and successfully use them in practice. And if it still brings with obvious results — the joy is double,“ says E. Sakalauskaitė.

Business enterprises are also rapidly strengthening their social responsibility, and as much as they value it, they are willing to contribute to the initiative for the second year in a row. For example, AB “Kauno grūdai” will rejoice us again with delicious cakes and will ensure that the participants will have only a healthy and nutritious breakfast, while AB “Vilniaus Paukštynas” will supply fresh chicken for everyday’s dinner.

The flavors and aromas of “Lavazza Blue Lithuania” are also together with us from the very first social innovations event. We are also very grateful to the newly discovered sponsors: “Gevaina Textile Company”, which will ensure the comfortable rest of the participants, UAB “Rocknrolla Bar & Kitchen”, “101 Bakery”, “Mamma Pizza”, “Bernelių Užeiga”.

Of course, organizers are thankful for financial contributions from UAB “Baltic Pack”, “Flanders Investment & Trade Baltics”, as well as the Kaunas District Municipality and the Kaunas Chamber of Commerce, Industry and Crafts, that helped with discovering a lot of solutions.

ChangeMakers’ON is supported by “Barclays”. Social innovations program is implemented by European Social Entrepreneurship and Innovative Studies Institute, Kaunas University of Technology and Enterprise Lithuania.
