When she cooks, she brings forth traditions and customs that were passed down from her Great Grandmother Ma Bell and her mother. “When I cook, I feel Ma Bell is in the kitchen with me,” says MaDonna. It is the recalling of past memories that makes cooking a hearty meal so profound.
