How I built a CMS, and why you shouldn’t
Petr Palas

In my experience CMS’s are harder to use than plain HTML CSS JavaScript code. In a lot of companies now days the people responsible for content are savvy with web technologies, if we let them edit the code directly they will automatically reap the benefit of proper IDE, version control, unit testing, code reviews, preview through a deployment pipeline…etc. I want to believe that the future version of CMS is a coding framework and not a configuration tool. Thoughts?
