BB Article
Reading this article made me more aware of credible websites and non-credible websites. I really enjoyed it because some of the questions that I previously had about this subject are now answered.
One thing that I learned from this article was to keep an eye out for the organizations that are associated with the author. Knowing this can help me determine if a source is reliable or not depending on the qualifications that fall under this matter. I need to be sure that if there are associations linked that they are approved for that specific author of the website.
Another helpful tip that I learned was to try and notice if the author is being biased. It is often that if the author is biased and I agree with them that I assume that it is credible and reliable. It is important to take a closer look if the author is taking a specific stand rather than revealing solid information about a subject.
At the end of the article there was a list of credible sources. When I am doing research, now that I know the main websites that can be reliable, I will use them first before having to investigate further about an author. I also did not know that countries had their own domains.
