  • Bad websites: don’t give inmformation quickly or if links don’t update instantly

  • What site’s about should be obvious at first glance, as should what it contains and who produced it.

  • Well-organized website = where visitor can figure out where to find info

  • The difficulty of website development is the continuous amount of the info necessary to sustain the site and organizing and presenting the info in a way that allows visitors to access and use it.
  • Keep in balance w/other important factors

  • Not every website is a news site, but almost all sites need to present new and updated information
  • Static site: one that changes so little that visitors see the same thing each time
