Demands of the Audience
Chick-Fil-A’s official website does a good job at giving options to meet the answers of the viewing costumer’s needs. Usually the person searching the website is looking for the menu, catering, or locations and right away this website directs the viewer to each specific category.
The speed of the website is superb. It is very quick and loads at the click of the button without allowing any hang or lag time to sit there and wait on something. Each click is instant and directs the viewer directly to what her or she is looking for at the time.
The visual logic of Chick-Fil-A is precise. As soon as a viewer finds their website there is no question as to what Chick-Fil-A is and it is easy to find information about the company.
Simple Navigation and organization is something that I think is strong at this specific website. At the very top each category for a specific interest is listed right from the start and under each of those are layered information with keeps it concise and neat.
While at first is may seem like a simple, clean cut website, there may be more room for improve the depth of it. Just because there is information about the company somewhere within the website, I think that it may be wise to let the viewer know right away on the home screen what the company stands for because Chick-Fil-A is known for its Christianity worldview.
I would have to say that Chick-Fil-A is not a static website because on the home page there is an updated “read story” icon and a rotating slide on the new items on their menu. They are constantly looking for ways to connect the viewers and keep their information up to date in order to make people feel involved with the company.
