Scott — I disagree with your assessment that these articles and others like them spread negativity and unrest. I think they are indispensable to any sort of progress, in fact. Our society didn’t evolve from slavery to segregation because people refused to tell their “negative” stories, it happened precisely because they did tell them. Rather, our experiences are not all the same; making the assumption that they are is what leads to civil unrest and racial discord, not the stories which unveil it.
