Technically, I agree that most of the energy sector has moved on from coal. However, no one knows what will happen tomorrow. I think we need a strategic coal reserve. We could face an energy shortage sometime in the future or something could caused a rise in prices in natural gas that would make coal look like a good idea. I have seen a lot of these swings in energy prices, and know that unforeseen things do happen all the time. Hope for the best and prepare for the worst. At present, the energy sector receives $billions in federal welfare every year. Is that really necessary?
