This is Psychological Warfare
Sarah Cooper

I first heard of this when I was a school-boy slightly over 50 years ago.A group of boys from another class called me over and one started to tell “a joke” the rest of the boys started laughing,I asked what was so funny they started to do the belittling thing,”cant you see it?” “don’t you get it” then the classic piece pointing to one of their own “even he gets it” implying he was not so bright but got the joke that I couldn’t.I turned away saying its just not funny, that’s when they owned up and told me the full story of how people follow like sheep. They went on to demonstrate it on a few others and to my surprise they boys joined in with the laughter.
