Apple are probably leading when it comes to accessibility and Molly has written extensively about how Apple products in particular helped her through adolescence and difficult times at uni where people repeatedly let her down.
It’s because they are leading accessibility in this way that Molly has adopted, pretty much the entire suite of Apple products.
It’s also because they are leading accessibility that I am calling them out as the company to solve this problem.
I could have been clearer about the Tim Cook comment. I certainly don’t think he doesn’t care and I’m aware of the championing he does.
However, it’s not SHOUTED about enough.
Next month, during the keynote where they’ll not doubt announce the iPhone 7s, centre stage, in front of that audience and goodness how many people live streaming from home. That’s where I would love to see it championed.
