Really, everyone knows about Russell winning the MVP in 1962? When you ask people about Russell, Wilt, and Oscar, people usually attribute Russell to 11 championship, Wilt with the 100 pt game, and Oscar with the triple double. Oscar is essentially most remembered for that one historically great season and doing something no one has ever done…average a triple double. People are acting like everyone knew who won the MVP in 1962 and who won the title…news flash most people have no idea. But they do remember Oscar’s amazing feat.
