To me this trade doesnt really help Houston overcome the Spurs or Warriors. Beverly is the perfect guard next to Harden, a player that shoots threes, doesnt demand the ball and is always willing to guard the opposing team’s best wing. CP3 in Dantoni’s offense sounds pretty sweet, but it will essentially force Harden to play off the ball, which he isnt very good.

This trade also makes Houston considerably less cool. Cp3 and his complaining is hard to watch and made the clippers a hard team to cheer for, mix that now with Harden’s flopping and you get a recipe for annoyance.
