Why exactly is Lonzo Ball a savant or genius? He definitely has a great feel for the game, but acting as if it is obvious he is a genius and that he will just figure things out is a bit of a stretch. His shooting motion is definitely an issue. Teams will put athletic players like Leonard, Giannis, Butler, Smart, etc. on him and he wont be able to get that very slow shot off. Its a problem.

Further, Ball has been repeatedly hyped for years, overhyped in many instances. I think people are buying into it, in part because UCLA is a very good team, with a very good offensive system. Fultz seems like the obvious better player, but I dont think either of the two are cant miss prospects like Bill has been trying to argue for the past few weeks.
