The incident happened at around 7pm on Friday 4th November. Fire services used a winch to haul the car, with the driver still inside, from it’s precarious position.

Images clearly show the vehicle hanging almost vertically off the edge of the marina, with the nose being the only thing preventing it from falling.

An eyewitness told The Sun blamed the accident on a mechanical issue, “I believe it was a malfunction of the electronic handbrake,” speaking of how the woman was mortified when people had been speaking of the accident being her own fault.

Upon being rescued, the woman had no injuries, but a crane was required to take the vehicle away.
