My “30 Days, 30 UI Designs” Challenge.

I’ve worked on some really cool software—from AR apps, to data infrastructures, Social Media Publishing Apps, you name it. And these apps are all very different from one another in terms of the functionality to the users themselves. But I noticed a pattern. And this pattern isn’t just in my work. It’s everywhere. The pattern is that

Every damn UI design looks the same.

Maybe that comes from the rise of minimlist Visual design in software. Or, UI web templates which increase the speed of deploys, higher focus on UX and Usability, etc. Coming from an agile/lean background, I get it. But the world of software has become sterile.

My response: 1 new UI Screen, every day for 1 month.

My goal is to bring color, beauty, and the human element back to UI/Visual designs. Each day will be different challenge—Monochromatic palettes, odd shaped buttons, texturing, etc. The designs will be wacky, wierd, and judgment free.

Hit the follow button and watch my progress as I create 30 UI designs over the next 30 Days.
