I would have liked to see the environmental cost as well as quality of life cost addressed in this article.

Where will the energy come from to power so much distribution? Will it offset the cost of energy not used in production of redundant items? Will that be enough to reduce carbon emissions/air quality?

How will our communities be affected by so many vehicles on the road/in the air? What will the sound environment be like? How will people feel walking on what might once have been quiet streets that are now busy with traffic?

I’d be curious as to your thoughts on this.
