I have just read your article, I am Sure (sadly) that you must be aware that you have not mentioned one woman as a creative person and beyond this have referred to someone potentially becoming or wishing to become ‘highly creative’ as ‘he’. I am a highly creative female filmmaker and you have managed to alienate and exclude me entirely from your line of thought. You have basically, through your use of language, denied me any sense that I too have access to creative genius. Semiotics is important, it has tangible affects, you must be more responsible for the language you use and underlying values and beliefs it exposes.
