It’s always remarkable to me how much we don’t know about ourselves. You might know your height, weight, eye color and favorite ice cream, but what are all the things you don’t know? What would you like to know?
If you are like me, somewhat of a nerd/wannabe bio-hacker, then you’ll have way more questions about yourself and where you stand. To be honest, I’m pretty new to the game but I’ve always loved science experiments, so it’s only fitting that I’d try and hack my biology for the better.
The best part about this biohacking movement is that no one already knows all the answers for you, they don’t know what will work best for your own personal biology, rather they just have some general ideas of what might work well.
As such, I’ve been getting blood tests and tracking my hormones to get them to their optimal and ideal zones. You wouldn’t believe how much better you start to feel as you get things situated and at the right levels.
My most recent experiments with some basic supplementing of simple things like vitamin d and CoQ10 have shown positive increases. Plus I’ve been tracking testosterone numbers and saw a good bump this last go around.
This all comes back to knowing your numbers and really getting into the results. The deeper you go on understanding them and getting them in the right spot the happier and better off you’ll be. Why wouldn’t you want to perform at your absolute best?
Find a good Doctor, track your numbers and love your data. Keep testing it and tweaking and get it to where you feel most optimal. There’s a lot that can be done with some simple panels, plus it’s always good to learn more about how you operate and function.
