Why Do We Hate Thinking?

The declining rate at which we use our human speciality

In my reading this morning I stumbled upon yet another gem from “Good to Great”, if you haven’t read that book yet, you really should… It was the beginning of the chapter all about the aid of technology in accelerating the flywheel for any great organization. This quote puts it beautifully:

“Most men would rather die, than think. Many do.” — Bertrand Russell

So just think about that for a second. In your evolution of becoming the best you can be personally and professionally I believe we all need to spend more time in quiet places just thinking, about ourselves, our goals, our ideas and our dreams. Don’t make not thinking something on your not to do list…
