I’ve never fully got the Jack Wilshere ‘thing’. For years there have been mutterings about him being the future of English football and I have never really seen it. Neat and tidy on the ball, moments of class, prone of the odd very bad tackle and unable to put 5 matches together.

I remember reading after one of injury comebacks that he wouldn’t change the way he played. That is great Jack, continue to make stupid challenges and you’ll continue to pickup silly injuries because you really aren’t robust enough to play that way… I think he is a bit thick to be honest.

Can’t see him playing for Arsenal again or any other top 6 premiership side.
