Here’s a recipe for sweet bread:

Ingredients:

4 cups all-purpose flour
1/2 cup granulated sugar
1 teaspoon salt
2 1/4 teaspoons instant yeast
1 cup warm milk
1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
3 large eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/2 cup raisins or other dried fruits (optional)
1/4 cup powdered sugar for dusting (optional)

Instructions:

In a large mixing bowl, combine the flour, sugar, salt, and instant yeast. Mix well.
In a separate bowl, whisk together the warm milk, melted butter, eggs, and vanilla extract.
Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and stir until a soft dough forms.
If using raisins or dried fruits, knead them into the dough until they are evenly distributed.
Transfer the dough to a lightly floured surface and knead for about 5-7 minutes until it becomes smooth and elastic.
Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover it with a clean kitchen towel or plastic wrap, and let it rise in a warm place for about 1-2 hours or until it doubles in size.
Once the dough has risen, punch it down to release the air and divide it into two equal portions.
Shape each portion into a loaf and place them in greased loaf pans.
Cover the pans again and let the dough rise for another 45 minutes to 1 hour.
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) during the last 15 minutes of the dough's rise.
Bake the loaves in the preheated oven for about 25-30 minutes or until they turn golden brown and sound hollow when tapped.
Remove the loaves from the oven and let them cool on wire racks.
If desired, dust the cooled loaves with powdered sugar before serving.
