It’s time to focus on what you can control

What are you doing to keep yourself from not being distracted?

There will be many life moments where you may feel a bit of unbalance. During these times, I try to remind myself and others, “Focus on what you can control.”

Below are some techniques that I use to focus on what I can control.

  1. Write down everything that you are currently working on
  2. Identify the areas that you may not be able to impact or influence
  3. Outline a plan to how you can adjust your focus based on your work and/or personal priorities
  4. Remind yourself of the “focus on what you control ”affirmation

At the end of the day, you are the one that can adjust your attitude, your mindset and focus on the best plan for you to be successful.

I challenge you to remind yourself of this important practice.
