“Each person deserves a day away in which no problems are confronted, no solutions searched for. Each of us needs to withdraw from the cares which will not withdraw from us.” — Maya Angelou

I am excited for some time off to enjoy with my family and friends.

3 reminders on the importance of taking time off

  1. Marking an out of office (OOO) on your calendar 📆gives you something to look forward to.
  2. Gives you the ability to de- stress, build back your energy and productivity.
  3. If you manage a team, showing your team that taking a break is okay. This is important for your work well being and should be an acceptable practice.

How are you prioritizing time off for yourself?

Share in the comments below on how you have prioritized time off and how it has helped you in your career.

Until next time -
