Speaking natural language to ask questions vs. SQL code creates an explosion of access among a user base to answers they wouldn’t have available without relying on someone else who was a gate keeper of “language”.

This is huge. Speech-in, text-out for querying databases would change a lot. Like you’re saying, this would create the shift away from knowledge keepers and put a lot of power in the hands of employees with an inquisitive enough mind.
