The title of this little piece is “Stop It!”. I wrote this one with some anger. Well, as long as i think it carries a message, it’s alright.

STOP IT!

The simple things enlighten me

Your big houses and fat pride cannot frighten we

The feelings the streets give me, you cannot feel

The people of need, they are always giving a plea

After all, that’s what everyone thinks they have to give

“Please for bread. Just even the crumbs?”

“Please for a nest. Can’t you see we are living in the slums?”

But who cares. Nobody fears the wrath of Jah

The power of I AM

So they seize their lands and shatter their plans

Even if i gave you my eyes, you wouldn’t see

You don’t want to live

Because

How can you breathe?

When you expect your own air to be different

Expect your own friends to be richest

Want your own food to be sweetest

Look, this life has a lot of difference

Slaughter your pretence

Your complains are always frequent

Prayers, never fervent

As for your thoughts, very wicked

Where will your greed bring you to?

I suggest a Reverend

But even they, do they show HIM that reverence ?

When all of us sin, but they judge with a deadly sentence…

Acting like the priests doesn’t have a mistress

Your stupid habit of being judgemental is nonsense!
