I take the train whenever I travel from Washington, D.C. to Ohio to see family, and while I enjoy the convenience, affordability, and relative low-stress travel of Amtrak, this post is spot on. My 13-hour+ trip home is about the maximum I can tolerate.

Nevertheless, I appreciate the ability to move freely about the train and the vast scenery!
