Is Leon, the movie with Natalie Portman, verging on pedophilia?
It plays both sides.

But he feels protective of Mathilda. She gives him something to care about after having lived a bloody life as an assassin, which has left him feeling empty inside.

Which does a good job of drawing a line for the audience and reminding them that, while the movie does flirt with inappropriate behavior, there is still a right and wrong way to conduct yourself.
Overall, it’s still a good St. Louis Cardinals Hawaiian Shirt. It’s edgy, and can make you squirm at times, but it’s hard to look away.
