Love this. There is this really pervasive (corporate) mentality that if you take away all the easily accessible, legal, free options you can force people to pay for the content as opposed to just driving them elsewhere.

I think so many folks have been coached into the idea that free is always bad for artists and business, they don’t stop to think about who stands to benefit the most from limiting options (i.e. corporations).
