When did the education system become so corrupt?

I don’t know when the education system became so rubbish, but I’ve recently realized, it has completely gone down the toilet, unless it was always like that and i just never noticed but it really is terrible. I realized this when my best friend got called into our head of grades office at school the other day for being absent… she was shouting at her, asking her if she wants to be a drop out and if anyone else in her family made it through matric. she was in tears.

They even threatened to phone child welfare and get her into a children’s home because someone said she was staying with her boyfriend. My friend decided to leave. Just walk out of school… the funny thing is when her and her mother got called to a meeting to discuss it the next day the teachers acted as though the last few days were just a figment of her imagination. Am i the only person who thinks that is just completely wrong? I’ve never hated school, i knew i had to do it to make a living for myself but how do we even call these people human? They don’t know how to treat the people around them. something is very wrong in today’s society and it sickens me.
