Umbrella Network Announces Token Generation Event & Listing Details
Umbrella Network is excited to announce it will be having its Token Generation Event in preparation for the Polkastarter IDO and Uniswap Listing on Tuesday 9th February 2021. First of all, we would like to express our extreme gratitude for all of the support we have received since the project started. We have had incredible success in our oversubscribed private rounds, and have received overwhelming levels of support from both top tier investors and the broader community at large.
With that being said, Umbrella Network is pleased to provide the details of the IDO and Listing below.
General Information
- The $UMB IDO is scheduled for Tuesday 9th February 2021
- The token contract address will be published only via official Umbrella Network social media channels. Please double check to make sure you are following the correct official ones only.
- Umbrella’s official Telegram channel will be muted several hours prior to the event so that important information can be clearly communicated and to avoid any confusion
- Comments on Twitter will also be disabled
- To avoid any potential for scammers, please also be advised that Umbrella team members will never DM you first.

Polkastarter IDO
To account for the high demand and with our listing less than 2 weeks away, we will be conducting 2 rounds of whitelisting to give our community a chance to get $UMB before they hit exchanges.
On the day of the IDO, there will be 2 pools of $UMB available on Polkastarter: a public pool and a $POLS pool. Anyone can participate in the public pool, but only $POLS holders can participate in the $POLS pool. Addresses for both pools will be whitelisted in both Round 1 and Round 2 of our whitelisting event.
Round 1 will open on 1st February at 3 PM UTC and close on 3rd February at the same time.
Round 2 will open on 5th February at 3 PM UTC and close on 6th February at the same time.
Here are the steps you need to follow to join our whitelists.
- Follow @UmbNetwork and @Polkastarter on Twitter.
- Retweet Umbrella’s pinned tweet, add your own comment, and tag two friends in it.
- Join our Telegram community chat and leave at least one thoughtful message in the group. We value our active community members, and writing in our chat ensures that we pick up your Telegram ID.
- Fill out the whitelist form only after you have completed the above steps: https://whitelist.umb.network/
If you aren’t on a whitelist, you won’t be able to participate in our IDO. This process is about preventing bots from submitting unfair entries and gaming our system. We will randomly select the final IDO participants from these whitelist entries. Duplicate, incomplete, or suspicious submissions will be removed.
One more time: Round 1 opens on 1st February at 3 PM UTC and closes on 3rd February at the same time. Round 2 opens on 5th February at 3 PM UTC and closes 24 hours later on 6th February.
Uniswap Listing
On 9th February 2021, the Uniswap Liquidity pool will be created on the exchange. The initial pool will be in UMB/ETH, and UMB token holders will have the opportunity to add liquidity to the UMB Uniswap pool after the initial launch of the AMM Pool.
Our tokenomics are about promoting long-term token holding instead of serving short-term whales. Umbrella Network is designed to put tokens directly into the hands of our community of public token buyers, developers on the network, validators running the system, and our data partners. Ultimately, almost two thirds of all the tokens issued will be community owned.
