My daughter wrote her
first haiku today and I
couldn’t be more proud.
What is it about
this art of five seven five
that sucks people in?
Perhaps it is the
brevity with levity
that does it so well.
I don’t necessarily think that Elise appreciated learning the art of haiku while homeschooling today, but I enjoyed teaching her and seeing what she came up with for the first time. Poetry for all, and to all a goodnight!
