I’m done rejecting myself. From now on, if I am interested, I am going to ask. If the answer is no, all I’ve lost is something I already did not have.
Too Bold?

I love this. Asking is exactly the opposite of “too bold.” You gain integrity in the process of asking for more information about someone else’s preferences and then choosing to adjust your actions based on your new knowledge — rather than on a lack of it. “Too bold” would be acting based upon an assuming you know, or you don’t have to ask, what another person wants.
