I like this article. It’s something I came to realise only after having managed two products in my MVP agency, which has now spun out to an interim tech and product team. Needless to say, I was naive and careless, being green to this field. I learned this through experience the hard way, and am glad I did.
This is especially important when managing a very diverse team from various backgrounds, who may or may not speak / write / read English as their first language.
Having empathy and patience is key as well, and tie in very nicely with the art of listening.
