A Tribute to a President
Sereena Abbassi

A beautiful piece of writing that is honest and exposing. Firstly love that your parents met in KFC, it gives me hope that random everyday interactions can lead to love and the likes of Tinder aren’t a must to find love. It may have been a different time but beautiful nonetheless. Secondly I never knew Iran to once have been the Ibiza of the Middle East, very insightful! Lastly, I love that your take out from your experiences and questioning of where you belong and what has shaped you is that your tribe is humility. In a world where people want to place you you have to follow what feels most natural to you. I am with you on humility being a tribe that feels most home to you. ❤️
