This is the Secret to Happiness

Words of affirmation.

The key to happiness does not lie within a single day. The key to happiness does not lie within a single month. It does not lie in a single year, a single decade, or a single lifetime. The key to happiness is a process, an ever-lasting journey that lasts much longer than the time we spend on Earth now. It is eternal, all-encompassing, and fully embodying.

Happiness is the decision to wake up early to start your day off right.

Happiness is the decision to do yoga, elongating your body and flexing your mind.

Happiness is the decision to devour literature like you devour food, to consume letters, words, phrases, metaphors.

Happiness is the decision to run, to provide a sense of clarity in the repetition of putting one foot in front of the other.

Happiness is the decision to fill your body with wholesome food, to nourish every facet of your being.

Happiness is the decision to explore, to venture into new and exciting places, to use your imagination.

Happiness is the decision to take pictures, make art, play music, dance, and sing.

Happiness is the decision to listen to someone, to offer them a warm embrace in a moment of compassion.

Happiness is the decision to listen to affirmations that motivate you to be the best you can be.

Happiness is the decision to love who you are, accepting all your imperfections and shedding light on your best qualities.

Happiness is the decision to trust the process, understanding God put you right where you need to be at this perfect moment.

Happiness is a choice.
