I used a subjective score – from my experience phones apps + bed sensors still hold a fair amount of bias in the attempt to correlate in sleep movement with quality and stages – for example some nights I sleep 2x 3 hour blocks and am up for 2 hours in between however felt quite rested as I still had 2 Full REM cycles
