Some by Mi Galactomyces Vitamin C Toner Review

Toners have always been abandoned by most of us and, it’s high time that you should add some in your vanity. The Galactomyces Vitamin C Toner by Some by Mi is a Holy Grail product for people with dry skin (I am one of them).

As discussed in my previous review of the Cosrx Pimple Patch, I have extremely dry skin with occasional breakouts. The pimple patch undoubtedly worked wonderfully for me. But I still have fine lines, flakiness, and light pimple scars on my face. Moreover, I miss the natural dewy glow on my face.

And, that’s why I decided to give the Galactomyces toner a chance to improve my skin texture. So ladies here’s a first-hand review of the infamous Some by Mi Galactomyces Vitamin C Toner.

Galactomyces Toner — Packaging

Okay, so I got the Galactomyces toner in a brown-coloured plastic bottle with the usual diffuser. I liked that it came in a tinted bottle since Vitamin C is prone to oxidisation. It’s a 200ml bottle that goes a long way even if you are using it twice a day.

I would still recommend you to store the bottle in a cool, dry, and dark place to maintain the quality of its ingredients, especially Vitamin C. The packaging is absolutely spill-proof and, you can carry it in your handbag without worrying.

However, the bottle of the Galactomyces toner doesn’t have much information related to the product which can be improved by Some by Mi in future.

Galactomyces Toner — Texture & Smell

First of all, you need to shake the bottle well before pouring out the toner. The product comes out uniformly and feels lightweight on the skin. I did a patch test on the back of my hand and, it got absorbed within a few seconds.

The toner is transparent in colour. However, you can notice a slightly brownish tint in it (I guess because of the oxidation). Since it has Vitamin C as the main ingredient, it smells citrusy, like oranges. I love the orangey aroma as it makes me feel fresher and active.
