Never give up.

This is a story of a boy and girl who never gave up.

You see, whenever the boy got tired or frustrated or sometimes sat down, the girl was always there

to cheer him up

or make him laugh

or

lift him to his feet.

And whenever the girl wondered if the world might stop spinning

he

held her close so it didn’t matter at all if it did.

Soon, the boy became a man — at least that’s what people said. And the girl became a woman, even though she still had smiling eyes.

And the clouds covered the sun, and the storms came, and the waves crashed and the wind howled.

And the girl stayed. And the boy stayed.

Before long the man, who was still really a boy, and the girl who’d become a woman, had a family of their own.

And they didn’t know they could love so much.

Their days overflowed. Days turned to years and years to lifetimes.

And their hearts overflowed too. Sometimes with joy. Sometimes with sorrow.

And the man stayed. And the woman stayed.

And love stayed.

And they never gave up.

The End.
