Your oppression doesn’t give you the right to turn around and oppress those with even less power than you. It is sadly a common experience where the oppressed jealously hordes the power they are able to take for themselves and in turn uses it to oppress others, who were often their allies, to prevent them from achieving the same thing. Being oppressed DOES NOT give you the right to do it onto others, it just makes you like those who did it to you.
