WEN $egg? 12.12.21 at 22:00 UTC
HOW $egg? This is where our Tri-Token Architecture takes flight — Let’s break it down.
1. Roost your chikn, lay some $egg.
This is the only step required to get your chikn laying. Simply head to:
chikn.farm/roost (at the disclosed time above)
Make sure your wallet is connected — then roost a single chikn OR roost them all! Sign the transaction and voila! Your chikn has started laying! Claim your $egg at any time.
Don’t worry, ‘Roosting’ is not traditional staking. We do not require ownership or possession of your chikn NFT. They are your chikn after all! This means you can still list your chikn for sale if you’re silly enough to do so — but be warned — any unclaimed $egg from this chikn will be the rightful property of its new owner! This opens the chikn marketplace up to all new kinds of fun ‘sniping’ opportunities.
2. Stake your $egg to farm $feed.
Once you have claimed some $egg, simply stake it to start farming $feed.
Single-sided staking was to be our interim solution while our LP-staking contract gets audited — but now it’s a mainstay feature of chikn.farm.
The yield is damn good — and $egg-LP staking will be even better!
$feed will currently be farmed at a daily 3x ratio per $egg staked. The more $egg you stake, the more $feed you farm. Simply claim your $feed at any time to use it.
You may also withdraw your $egg from staking at any time — but because eggies are delicate, they are subject to a ‘breakage fee’ of 8.33% (1 in every dozen). This acts as incentive for $egg to remain staked, while permanently burning 8.33% of all $egg that gets unstaked. A win-win for chikn & $egg holders alike.
Can’t be bothered staking your $egg? Want your $feed quicker? We’ve got you covered. There is the option to burn your $egg in a direct swap for $feed, currently set at a ratio of 1:12.
Note: There IS a hard-cap on $feed, meaning yes — it will run out. At some stage, it will become untenable/too expensive for people to make their chikn much Biggr. So, in short, the race to grow the biggest chikn is on!
3. $feed your chikn, make it Biggr.
Finally, once you’ve claimed some $feed, feed it to your chikn to make it Biggr.
Why? Because Biggr chikn lay more $egg than smol chikn — and not to mention they will also have significant advantages when it comes to our p2e gaming model.
Once your chikn is FULL, you will be able to level-up/grow your chikn — writing straight to its metadata — increasing its ‘kg’ by +1.
However, the Biggr your chikn gets, the more $feed it will need to level up moving forward, and thus the time it takes to digest its food increases. It’s just science. Notice that skip button? We feel this will come in handy for players at some point, should you wish to continue to outpace your competition…
Now you know how to be a chikn Farmer, but what’s the goal? And how does it all work!?
As there is a finite supply of $feed, and all used $feed is burned — there is a hypothetical ‘cap’ on the size of the Barn, after which point it will be untenably difficult to grow your chikn.
The Barn is designed to fit 10,000 chikn with a size of 45kg each. Of course, some clever chikn will far surpass this size, others may never make the grade.
The starting total of daily $egg laid is set to 10,000 and will increase to ~120,000 over time.
Each chikn will lay a percentage of this $egg when they are Roosted in the Barn. The amount of $egg they are able to lay depends on their weight (kg) — Biggr chikn, obviously lay MORE $egg than smol chikn.
A chikn Farmer’s total $egg yield will depend on the size of their Roost, that is, the total kg of all chikn owned.
All roosted chikn accumulate $egg continuously, which can be claimed at any time.
In the beginning, given every chikn has the same starting weight of 1kg — they will all lay equally at 1 $egg per day.
To put it in terms of the game that is chikn — in order to lay the most $egg possible, you must stake as much $egg as you can, to harvest and use your $feed as often as you can, to make your chikn Biggr - as quickly as you can!
Further, as $feed has a hard-cap, the speed with which you act is of the utmost importance.
Gimme the numbers
Initial daily cap: 10k $egg per day.
chikn starting-lay: min.1 $egg, per roosted chikn, per day.
Farming: 3 $feed for every 1 $egg staked (single-sided) per day.
Swaps: 12 $feed for every 1 $egg burned.
Inflation will be controlled by steadily increasing the amount of $egg burned over time.
Some of these burning methods are:
- Breakage fees (above)
- CNS: chikn naming service.
- RNS: roost naming service.
- Minting of future NFT series.
- Upgrading future NFT series.
- chikn p2e game/s
- 3rd party NFT minting
- 3rd party NFT upgrading
- 3rd party p2e games
And finally, as this is a fair-launch of our native utility token, ALL chikn will receive a little something to get them started…
Starting supply of $egg:
- 1million $egg across all chikn
- 1million $egg for initial Liquidity
Projected starting market-cap: ~$1million
