How to mint your FarmLand NFT
FarmLand, your very own upgradable slice of the Metaverse — is your key to mastering LP farming in the Chikn ecosystem, and beyond. Designed to burn EGG and incentivise liquidity, minting a FarmLand requires you to prove that you would know how to use it.
Instead of minting with AVAX or by burning EGG, FarmLand NFTs will be minted by burning EGG-AVAX JLP tokens. These JLP tokens are a “receipt” of EGG and AVAX tokens staked in a liquidity pool on TraderJoe.

Once these LP tokens are burned, there is no way to claim the liquidity back from the pool. This means that every FarmLand minted is making a permanent contribution of EGG-AVAX liquidity.
There are no profits taken from this mint, nor proceeds to be had.
This mint is purely for the benefit of the ecosystem, the liquidity of EGG, and the lucky new owners of FarmLand.
The chikn Team will receive no access to, nor profits from, the LP burned during the Mint.
From the mint alone, we aim to establish close to $1mm of permanent EGG liquidity, with plenty more to come through incentivization once FarmLand and LP Farming is active.
Note: ALL chikn owners have already been airdropped 1x FarmLand each.
- Mint Price: 16 JLP Tokens (from EGG-AVAX LP)
(~120 EGG + equivalent AVAX in JLP tokens) - Mint Time: 00:00 UTC, Sunday 20th February.
- Available Supply: 2,826 FarmLand NFTs
- Total supply: 5,000 FarmLand NFTs*
- Prior Airdrop (to chikn owners): 2,174 FarmLand NFTs
*Note: This is one of four possible ‘seasons’ of FarmLand. The remaining seasons will only be minted if (and when) the demand from new ecosystem participants requires it, otherwise they will remain unminted.
How to Mint:
STEP 1. Pool your EGG & AVAX here, and receive your JLP tokens.

STEP 2. Take your JLP tokens from TraderJoe to the FarmLand mint page at:
https://chikn.farm/mint — (this will be live closer to mint. Alternatively look for the ‘mint’ tab from the homepage)
DO NOT BE LATE. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!
It is highly likely that FarmLand will mint-out extremely quickly.
- Once minting is LIVE (00:00 UTC), manually refresh your browser.
- This is the screen(s) you will see:
STEP 3. Approve 16 JLP tokens for minting.
- Note: this transaction will only approve the exact amount of JLP tokens required to mint, ensuring your security.
STEP 4. Mint your FarmLand NFT
- Limited to ONE FarmLand per wallet, per mint.
- If you have already been airdropped 1x FarmLand NFT, you can still mint 1x FarmLand NFT.
- Click ‘Mint Now’
- Sign the transaction (ensure an appropriate gas limit is set)
- Await confirmation:
STEP 5. Mint Complete!
- Head to the ‘Wallet’ tab to view your FarmLand NFT!
- Note: If you can’t see your FarmLand shortly after tx confirmation — check the ‘activity’ section of your wallet & try again.
To reiterate: we expect a significant demand for FarmLand NFT minting, and given the very limited supply, the mint could end very quickly.
Please rest assured that if you do not successfully mint, your JLP tokens will be retained by you.
Shortly after mint, FarmLand will be tradable on our marketplace. This is the only place we recommend trading your FarmLand NFTs.
SOON, native LP Farming will be live for everyone to use, as well as FarmLand upgradability — Expand your Land, with EGG.
Fertility upgrades will be live once the requisite token is released.
With every increase in bigness, your farm can hold another 1000 Feed at a time to harvest. Max-out your FarmLand at 120 bigness, and you will reap the benefits of uncapped farming.
Your FarmLand’s Fertility will remain at the base 4x multiplier, while single sided staking will reduce to 2x. More to be revealed on fertility SOON.
