We’ve compiled a list of 5 Great Painters you should know.

1. Leonardo da Vinci (1452–1519) was a Renaissance painter who lived from 1452 to 1519. He is well known for two remarkable paintings: The Mona Lisa and The Last Supper. He is regarded as one of the greatest artists of all time.

3. Rembrandt (1606–1669) was a Dutch painter who lived from 1606 to 1669.

He is known as the “Dutch Master” and is widely regarded as one of the greatest visual artists in history. The Night Watch and The Return of the Prodigal Son are two of his most famous works.

4. Vincent Van Gogh (1853–1890) was a Dutch painter who lived from 1853 to 1890.

This magnificent oil painting, The Starry Night, Sunflower, and Irises, was created by this Dutch post-impressionist painter.

5. Picasso, Pablo (1881–1973) — He was a child prodigy, having completed his first painting, The Picador, at the age of nine! Guernica, Les Demoiselles d’Avignon, and The Weeping Woman were among his most popular works.
