Wikipedia isn’t the problem

Wikipedia isn’t the problem, regarding what a Release Candidate means. It’s the Angular team within Google that’s misusing the term.

On that podcast, a Google employee explains that the Angular Team doesn’t use Release Candidate to mean a candidate for release. The Angular Team uses Alphas and Betas for internal use, then a Release Candidate is the first release to the public.

You really couldn’t make this stuff up.
