Failure rate
As the full-color LED display is composed of tens of thousands or even hundreds of thousands of groups of red, green and blue LED elements, the failure of any color LED will affect the overall visual effect of the display. Generally speaking, according to industry experience, the failure rate should be no more than 3 ‰ before the LED display begins assembly to aging 72 hours before shipment.
Antistatic capacity
LED is a semiconductor device, which is sensitive to static electricity and easily causes static failure. Therefore, the anti-static ability is very important for the life of the display screen. Generally speaking, the failure voltage of LED body static mode test should not be lower than 2000V.
Attenuation characteristic
Red, green and blue leds all have luminance attenuation characteristics with the increase of working time. LED chip is good or bad, the quality of auxiliary materials and packaging technology level determines the LED attenuation speed. Generally speaking, the attenuation of red LED should be less than 10% and that of blue and green LED should be less than 15% after 1000 hours and 20 mA light test at room temperature. The consistency of red, green and blue attenuation has a great impact on the white balance of the full-color LED display in the future, and thus affects the display fidelity of the display.
Brightness
LED brightness is an important determinant of display brightness. The higher the LED brightness, the larger the current allowance, which is good for saving power consumption and maintaining LED stability. Leds have different Angle values. When the chip brightness is set, the smaller the Angle, the brighter the LED, but the smaller the Angle of the display. Generally, 100 degree LED should be selected to ensure adequate viewing Angle of the display. Consistency
The full-color display is composed of countless red, green and blue LED elements. The consistency of brightness and wavelength of each color LED determines the consistency of brightness, white balance and chroma of the entire display. LED display manufacturers require device suppliers to provide LED with wavelength range of 5nm and brightness range of 1:1.3, these indicators can be achieved by the device supplier through the separation of color machine classification.
