These cattels grow mostly 5 to 6 feet high and 7 feet long .
Mostly the Kangayam cattle is generally gray , white and black. The cows are mainly of white color,black and gray with deep markings on the knees.
These bulls are also called as drought bulls because these bulls upstand many days without water and food .
These breed where yoused mostly for farming and in oil mill becouse these bulls left upto 3 to 4 tones of Wight at single time .
There are two types of kangayam kalai The one which is medium in size which present around southern parts of Erode till Dharapuram to East parts of Tiruppur till Karur.
The other variety which is much larger in size are mainly found in parts of Dindigul and Karur districts.
Due to this all advantages the trades traded these bulls to Brazil they named these bulls as Cangaian.These cattels are getting endangered in are country because of less spourt of Government but these Breeds in Brazil are well preserved and grown well .
The milk which we get from these Breeds which has very medicinel value but these are very less milker which produce 18 to 20 litters at peak time normaly they gives 2 to 3 litters of milk per day.
